#2 Xia Yu (39) v. #8 Dawgs (42)
TripleDoubleSports Division 2 has come down to #2 Xia Yu versus the #8 seeded Dawgs! This game turned out to be a defensive battle with every possession being valued! Xia Yu came out of the first quarter with a two point advantage, 10-8, with team captain Dorian Sun scoring 5 of his game high 16pts! The second quarter was all Dawgs or shall I say all Bradley! He scored 9pts in the quarter to give the Dawgs a lead at the half, 20-17! The second half was back and forth action. Xia Yu shot 24% to the Dawgs 35% in the half! If it wasn't for the free throws in the second half (XY 11-13; D 8-11) the score would have been a lot less than it was! Xia Yu regained the lead in the second half briefly behind Jeremy's double-double (10p 10r). The Dawgs, however, weren't gonna let this championship get away from them! Ryan Sera scored 10 of his team high 13pts to help seal the victory and bring the 'ship home to the Dawgs for the first time since we played at South City almost 3yrs ago! The Dawgs won, 42-39! D2 Champions, Dawgs!
