Final 4 recaps!

Final Four
(1) The Yay v. (5) Team Pacquiao
(2) Boogie Events v. (3) United Nations
.
(1) The Yay (66) v. (5) Team Pacquiao (58)
The first matchup of the day pitted (1)The Yay against (5)Team Pacquiao! The Yay jumped out to a 21-8 lead after the first quarter. The combination of Collin (18p 5r 1a) and D'Angelo (17p 8r 1a 3s 1t) seemed to be too much for Team Pacquiao to overcome, but they were up for the challenge! Behind Will (17p 8r 1a 1s 3t) and Nefi (10p 6r 1a 2s 2t), Team Pacquiao chipped away at their early 13pt deficit. Team Pacquiao shot well for the game from the field, 22-43 fgs (51%). The Yay hit one more 3pt shot and made 5 more free throws than Team Pacquiao did which was the difference in the score! Team Pacquiao couldn't overcome their poor start ultimately succumbing, 66-58! A big THANKS goes out to Team Pacquiao for the season!

(2)Boogie Events (61) v. (3)United Nations (66)
The next battle has the Boogie Events team taking on United Nations to see who will face The Yay in next weeks finals! The United Nations started off strong behind Toby 7 first quarter points to give UN a 20-12 lead. In the second quarter Boogie Events came back to take the lead at the half by 1, 35-34! A tight battle ensued...with UN taking the lead in the third. Then Boogie came back in the early fourth behind Kyle (13pts) and Cardell (16pts). It was a turbulent game with the lead changing hands many different times. The United Nations came through in the end behind Joe's 17p 7r 6a performance and Ruben's double-double (16p 11r), 66-61! On to the finals...thanks goes to the Boogie Events team! Nice game gentlemen...
