Final Regular Season game recaps!

Week 8
Open Division
Big Game Ballers (50) v. Splash City (45)
The Open Division started with a battle between the undefeated Big Game Ballers versus Splash City! The Big Game Ballers started the game with the minimum of 4 players and we're ready to put up a fight! The Splash City guys were taking the four-man BGB a little lightly and at the half the score was tied at 21 apiece! Winston, of the Ballers, came up big with 22pts & 15rebs (both game highs) and Jesse pitched in with a solid floor game! In the second half, the Ballers had their fifth man show up so they played the rest of the game at even strength! Splash City could not overcome their lackluster play and went on to lose a tough game, 50-45!

The next matchup brought two teams that were ready to play, the two teams were the United Nations versus Rock Center. They both came out firing! With Rock Center having the edge, 22-17, after the first quarter. Rock Center shot 10-14 fgs (71%) while United Nations shot a measly 6-20 fgs (30%). Rock Center only had 5 players and their lack of subs was obvious. United Nations turned it around with an 18-9 second quarter, to lead at the half, 35-31! Toby (UN) scored a game high 26pts and Mac went for a double-double (22p 10r). The Rock Center tried to put their best foot forward but fatigue got them! In the second half, Boogie tried to climb back behind Chris "Smooth" (26pts) and Miles (20pts) but Fly Squad extended their lead as both teams played at full strength.
