Championship D1/D2
(2) Gators (53) v. (4) Hapanese (45)
The Championship Day started of with the D2 game which pitted (2) Gators versus (4) Hapanese! The game started off with a hard blow to Hapanese as the second leading scorer, Tommy, had to temporarily leave the game because of a back injury! He would try to come back into the game but you could tell his back was bothering him! At halftime the Gators led by 14pts, 33-19. They were being led by Finals MVP Stevie who scored 14pts and by Dennis who contributed 13pts, including 7-8 fts down the stretch. Hapanese was led by Tye and Che who had 14pts apiece. Hapanese out scored the Gators in the second half, 26-20, but it wasn't enough as the Gators held on to win their first championship, 53-45! Good game to both teams and congratulations goes out to the Gators! See you next season!

If you were impressed by the skills of the D2 division, then the D1 championship was even more exciting! As the top seeded PayProTec team took on #3 seeded Bomb Squad team! Nick Wong, of Bomb Squad, took control of the game from the jump hitting 3 of his 11 1st quarter points. Kyle and D added 14 and 13pts respectively. After the first quarter, Bomb Squad was up 22-19! Then like a switch the Bomb Squad wasn't able to hit from the 3pt line going 2-12 (17%) the rest of the way after going 5-8 3pt to start the game! MVP Sean Caiola showed up in the finals one more time as he led his team with 21pts! He and Barry Lee salted the game away from the free throw line making 8-10 (80%) down the stretch to bring the final score to, PayProTec 61 Bomb Squad 57! Great and exciting way to end the finals fellas! See you both next season!
