Week 7 Recaps

 D1
Dubs (72) v. Jumpmen (58)
In the first of two games, the guys from Jumpmen were up to the challenge! First challenge came from a team that has found their stride at the right time, the Dubs! This was a competitive game! The score after the first quarter was all knotted up at 18 apiece! Then the Jumpmen couldn't find their shot! They shot 4-18 (22%) for the quarter...and the Dubs took full advantage shooting 11-22 (50%) in the second period. That was the quarter the sealed the victory for the Dubs. Jumpmen played even with the Dubs the rest of the way. In the end, it was the Dubs day, 72-58! On to the next one...

They were also missing Jason Rockwell and Sunny Margate! Two of the big guns that have made PayProTec champions in the past! Bomb Squad was up to the challenge as Nick Wong led his team with 26p 8r 4a! They shot a combined 25-51 (49%) from the field versus just 21-49 (43%) by PayProTec! The better shooting and all out hustle made the Bomb Squad winners, 68-61!

Jumpmen led by 5pts going into the fourth quarter, leading throughout. Jed kept the Jumpmen in front with a barrage of 3pters (23pts 5-11 3pt)! But, as they say, it ain't over until it's over! With :03 seconds left in the game and Jumpmen leading by a single point...Boogie went to their man, Sam Allen! Boogie inbounded the ball to Sam, he took a dribble and took the shot about three feet behind the line...hit the shot at the buzzer to win the game by 2pts, 70-68!
