Week 4
Bulls (49) v. Go Get It (68)
TripleDoubleSports starts off a short Super Bowl week with a battle between undefeated, Go Get It taking on the Bulls!
The Bulls, who are a new team this season, started off the game with a good first quarter. Most of the teams scoring came from one player, Joe! He came out of the gate on fire...going 5-7 fgs in the quarter for 13pts. But unfortunately, it seems someone turned off the power!? As a team, the Bulls only scored 5pts in each of the next two quarters!? They were only able to convert on 2-17 fgs (12%)!
Go Get It...went and got it! After leading after the first quarter, 17-15, Go Get It lengthened their lead by out scoring the Bulls, 28-10, in the second and third quarters combined! JRock scored a game high, 17pts on 5-9 fgs (56%) shooting! As a team, they shot 26-51 fgs (51%) and 11-11 fts (100%)!
The Bulls tried to forge a comeback by almost doubling their output in the fourth quarter, but it wasn't enough as Go Get It won, 68-49!

Boogie (50) v. Eagles (36)
Two oldies but goodies, and favorites to win it all, were up next as the Eagles took on the team that they call, Boogie!
The Eagles weren't on their game to say the least! Maybe it was jet lag that three of their players were experiencing as Quez, Bop and Jovelle all just returned from a couple of weeks in the motherland, The Philippines! But it showed in their game early! As they were 0-8 fgs after the first quarter where the game was decided! The Eagles were down, 19-2 after one...not insurmountable but they had a tough hill to climb! At the half, Boogie led, 28-14!
Boogie on the other hand came out of the gates with their guns a blazing! A new player to the team showed great potential as Joe Scott (15pts) and Rebo (16pts) led the way for Boogie! Boogie played the Eagles evenly in the second half. Preserving their 14pt first half lead to becoming a 14pt victory, 50-36!

Hapanese (55) v. Threat Matrix (51)
We saved the bast game for last! As newbies, Threat Matrix, took on the veteran squad, Hapanese!
The Threat Matrix came out strong for this game, trying to show that they belonged! The first quarter they did just that! With Ricci leading the way with 14pts, Threat Matrix had a 2pt first quarter lead! They shot a respectable 8-19 fgs (42%) in the first half, but trailed going into the half, 28-25!
Hapanese was ready for anything the Threat Matrix had for them! Jersey violations were gifted to Hapanese and proved to be costly in this tightly contested matchup! Ryan Sera converted on 3-4 technical free throws (2 fts in each half) to go along with his game high, 16pts! Normally, this team fades out in the end but not this time as Hapanese finished what they started and won the game, 55-51!
