Potrero Hill Nemesis battle in tripledoublesports semi-final

In our other semi-final matchup, two teams that are no strangers to each other #2 Run 'n' Gun and #3 A.T.N.T. face off in an epic battle of two of the best teams in the league! On paper, these two squads are a perfect matchup of both size and athleticism.

The game started off fast and furious. A.T.N.T.'s SG DJ came out with guns ablaze connecting on all four of his three point attempts in the first quarter. Matching him shot for shot was Run 'n' Gun's Relly, who also began with a hot hand as he score 10 points in the 1st. RnG led after the 1st 23-22.

The 3pt barrage in addition to their tenacious defensive stand allowed RnG to extend their one point lead to a 10-point 42-32 halftime difference. The first half was a total team domination by RnG. The eight 3's were made by five different players and the defense was provided by a combination of Steve Johnson and Jacob Hill's quickness on the ball.

The 3rd quarter proved to be a whole different story. A.T.N.T. were led by their big man in the middle, Duke, repeatedly feeding him in the post on his way to a 25-point evening. Scratching and crawling their way back in their game, A.T.N.T. began playing and living up to their team's name (A.T.N.T. = All Trapping No Talking).

Duke did his best to put the team on his back by scoring 14 second half points and dominating the game in the paint. In the end, all his efforts were not enough. After a rim rattling dunk, Duke and his mates came up a bit short, losing the game by a score of 61-58.

Two games and two exciting finishes.

Finals match-up: #2 Run 'n' Gun versus #5 Bay Area Ballers
