The stage is set for this weekend's TAKE FLIGHT TOURNAMENT!!
We have a STRONG 12 team field and match ups were based on gym time requests.
SATURDAY = Each team plays 2 "Seeding" games to determine #1-12 rankings.
SUNDAY = Each team will play their 3rd game on "Elimination day." Simple, if you lose you go home! TOP 4 teams from "Seeding day" receive a 1st round bye. Remaining 8 teams will play to face the TOP 4 teams waiting. So i suggest to play hard on Saturday to obtain one of the TOP 4 spots!
ROSTERS are set as soon as you tip off your first game. NO ADDITIONS to your roster after you start your first game on Saturday. If a new player comes SUNDAY and is on the roster, they can play.
ETHNICITY: Since this is our first "Asian"+2 import tournament, we will follow what the other leagues do and go with the "HONOR SYSTEM." With that said, IF another team protests a player, that player will need to prove their ethnicity. IF they can't prove it, then they can't continue playing.
HEIGHT: We have a 6'2 "WITHOUT"shoes and below rule. WE HAVE THE RIGHT TO MEASURE your players if they are above 6'0.
PRIZE: Besides being the FIRST TRIPLE DOUBLE SPORTS ASIAN Division Champion, the winners will receive a TEAM TROPHY, custom CHAMPS tee (designed by Prestige Cloting) and an invite to play at ORACLE ARENA before a GS WARRIORS game for our BALL SO HARD event!
