Open - Week 3 - RECAPS

Cream of the Crop (49) v. Rock Center (56)
Looking for their first win of the season, Rock Center came into the game with a renewed sense of vigor! Their tenacious "D" was too much for their opponents, Cream of the Crop, to handle. Kevin led the way for Rock Center with 13pts and 7rebs. He was also assisted by the sharpshooting of Tommy (3-7 behind the arc). The teams balanced scoring was a major factor in their win. For Cream of the Crop, F John Hall was a beast on the boards reeling in a season high 22 boards while scoring 28pts. Brian L. chipped in 11pts but it wasn't enough as the team dropped this game to Rock Center, 56-49.

Don't Call It Frisco (74) v. Rangers (47)
The Rangers look to boost their record to 2-0 as they face the surprise of the league in Don't Call it Frisco. Their lineup changes by game but I think they've finally found the right combo in Clayton (22p 4r 2a 4s) and Jordan (21p 5r 1a). The two combined for 43pts & 9rebs! Meanwhile, the Rangers were a little shorthanded as they were missing their leading scorer Tay, Siao and JMac (he made an appearance in the second half). Szeto did his job in their absence, notching a double-double (10p 10r) and the scoring landed on the shoulders of Geoff (21pts). But as hard as they tried, Don't Call it Frisco was too much to handle.

Primetime (85) v. 5 Star Ballers (78)
The Primetime players were ready for...PRIMETIME! In this matchup between them and the defending champions, 5 Star Ballers. Unfortunately, the 5 Star Ballers were shorthanded. Only able to dress 5 players at tipoff. Nando, led the way for the 5 Star Ballers, scoring a season high 42pts and Joe posted a double-double with 18p & 11rebs. Meanwhile, Primetime was relentless  from the jump! Led by the shooting of Mark M. with 23pts and the complete floor game of John Balara (10p 4r 8a 2s), winning the game wire to wire! The season looks bright for Primetime!
