Bay Area Ballers crack the win column

Bay Area Ballers (65) vs. Phil Good (49)

It usually takes time for a team to gel, especially one comprised of players who are use to playing against each other, but this group of WCAL (West Coast Athletic League) stars look lioke they are coming together at the right time. Led by southpaw, Ryan Tana (21pts, 6rebs), the Bay Area Ballers notched their first victory of the season by defeating Phil Good 65-49. This battle was won on the glass, the Bay Area Ballers outrebounded the Phil Good team 25-17, mostly coming from the offensive side. All the second chance points picked up by the Ballers were too much for Phil Good to overcome. Phil Good were kept in the game by the sharpshootin of Jordean DeGuzman and his running mate, James. The backcourt combined for 37 points, but sadly it was not enough. Tim Wang (BAB) pitched in a nice 18 point performance to compliment Tana’s game. The win puts the Ballers on the right track as the second half of the season begins.
